Starr's Mill

Pool Progress

After nearly five months, we see the end of the road. The pebbletec installation was jeopardized by the southern drought. Fayette County passed a recent restriction on filling pools. Without water, the pool couldn't be finished. Jeff came to the rescue. He went to City Hall (literally!) and was granted permission to fill the pool based on the permit being 4 months old. Landscaping is nearly finished, the pool house is progressing nicely, and the fence is ordered. We're almost done!

Living Room Ceiling

We're Almost To The End

We've reached another bottleneck. The pool is nearly finished. All that remains is applying the pebbletec finish and connecting the pool equipment. That has been stalled until electricity is turned on in the poolhouse. The bottleneck is drywall in the poolhouse interior. That was completed Monday night. The next delay was the natural kind -- rain. I'm beginning to believe this project will never end!
