We're Almost To The End

We've reached another bottleneck. The pool is nearly finished. All that remains is applying the pebbletec finish and connecting the pool equipment. That has been stalled until electricity is turned on in the poolhouse. The bottleneck is drywall in the poolhouse interior. That was completed Monday night. The next delay was the natural kind -- rain. I'm beginning to believe this project will never end!

Cotton Pickin' Fair

Progess Continues...

The next step in the progress is construction of the pergola. Within the the next couple weeks, the concrete will be cured enough for constructing the fireplace, and finishing the pool. Although we are in desperate need of rain, the fair weather has helped considerably in keeping the construction progress humming along.

My Favorite Season

I love autumn. Warm breezes, brilliant blue skies, falling leaves, and migrating birds. We took the puppies for a walk on the path behind our house. They love being outdoors and soaking in all the foreign smells.

Poolhouse Progress

Progress on the pool house continues. Inspections have passed on the heating/air, rough plumbing/mechanical, and rough framing. We're ready for drywall and finishing the interior. Along with the pool house progress comes the concrete pool deck.
