Round two of snow this week in Georgia hit today. The first storm arrived Wednesday evening as I was driving home from ADP training north of Atlanta. It took me 2 hours to get home that would normally take me half that time. The second storm began early Saturday morning. First rain, then sleet, then snow. We met the Payne's at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then loaded up on groceries before heading home for a long winter's nap. It's pretty but I don't miss living in the northern climes where this is a common occurrence. By tomorrow, this will all be a memory.
Air temp 36; pool temp 44.... tonight's beach party is cancelled
In spite of his new sweater, Leo refuses to get his paws wet. What a sissy!

About the waterfall.....we didn't turn it on to enter the world's biggest iccicle contest. The system has a 'freezeguard that runs the pumps if it gets below 35. This puppy has been running for 5 days staright.
About the dogs.......Leo won't stay out longer than 30 seconds claiming his sweater makes him a target for hawks. Yeah, like a brown dog on white snow doesn't paint a bullseye. Kady loves it....she'll go out and explore when it's 20 below. Dianora gets confused easily and wanders aimlessly around the snow not quite understanding what she is suppose to do. Kinda of like she does normally.
Bottomline: Too damn cold.
We are getting another 4-7" tonight up here in WI... After this latest storm, we should total over 30" for the season.. more than we've had in years. So yeah, I'm ready for spring!!!
