Happy Halloween!

About two weeks ago I began reading the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer. Yesterday I finished the fourth and final book in the series. The last 25 pages or so was agony... I wanted so much to finish the story so I could get on with my life, yet I didn't want it to end. I miss my friends - Bella, Edward, Jacob, Charlie, Billy, and the Cullens. I've watched every movie trailer in existence and can NOT wait until the movie release on November 21st. Completing the story of vampires was well timed with Halloween.

Halloween is my second favorite holiday right behind Christmas. As a young girl, my mother made my costume every year. We couldn't afford store-bought costumes, but only now do I realize how fortunate I was to have a unique one-of-a-kind creation. It's fun to watch my grandchildren - Ayden and Jameson - get excited to dress up and go door-to-door trick or treating. I love watching their excited faces as they fill their treat baskets with goodies.

Click on the photo below for a slideshow of Ayden and Jameson's Halloween spooktacular. I hope yours was awesome!

Love the photo Debra - as my birthday is on Hallowe'en I love anything to do with it, Your comment about your mother making your costume and you envying bought costumes reminds me of my mother ,who never bought cake, always made her own. When I went to my friend's house for tea I used to love the bought cake - only now do I know which was better!

I'm so jealous!!! I wanted to finish Breaking Dawn SOOO bad this weekend! We just had so much other random stuff to do and it all did get done, so that's good. I hope to finish the book this week/wkend. Last week I was watching Pushing Daisy's and saw a new movie trailer for Twilight that I hadn't seen before. The even awesome'er part was that it was being shown on TV!! How Cool!!! I can't wait to see all my 'friends' come to life in the movie, too! :)
