Labor of Love

Our 20th wedding anniversary is coming up in March. Being at a loss for the perfect gift for Doughboy, I decided to make it. I wanted it to be something memorable - something very special - and I'm almost finished. Here's a sneak peek at the anniversary scrapbook I made. It chronicles our married life - from the very unusual way we met, through the years, and to the present. The photos are of very poor quality. It's getting late and I didn't feel like changing my camera lens. But I think you'll get the idea.

Wow. What an awesome peek into your life. Had no idea you met through the personals. And married shortly after.

Sometimes you just know, don't you?

What an awesome gift. I knew the story, and how much you love each other and I cried anyway. But if your anniversay isn't until March, is this post going to ruin the surprise?

Doughboy - don't look!

It's hard to believe that I was only in the 6th grade when you married Peter. Thank God for personal ads...he's been such a good father to me for the past 20 years and the boys absolutely adore their Bumpa. Happy anniversary to the best parentals a girl could ask for!!!

And tell me why you need me to teach a class???? This is absolutely amazing!! I love it and will study it when I see you in April so I can replicate one. Really great project!

You have to send this to Teresa Collins. She will love what you have done with this. I love it and how it tells your story. My favorite is the page about doughboy's hands and then catching Ayden. Love it, love it, love it.

How are you going to keep doughboy from sneaking a peek?

Doughboy has already seen the project in the works. I can't keep it from him easily. I have spent hours and hours finding photos, editing, printing, creating pages, journaling. He pops into my creative space from time to time to make sure I'm still breathing. He won't see the finished project until it is ALL finished. It was definitely a labor of love...but he's worth it :)
